This Coffee's Story

At Finca Chelín in Oaxaca, Enrique López grows coffee with patience, curiosity, and deep care for his craft. This Gesha is one of four expressions in our Chelín Series — same variety, same harvest, shaped only by process — offering a clear look at how decisions at origin influence flavour.

In this series, the Traditional Washed represents the purest expression of Gesha. Ripe cherries are depulped soon after harvest, fermented in water to remove remaining mucilage, then carefully washed and dried. This process highlights Gesha’s natural floral aromatics and citrus clarity, providing the clean, structured foundation against which the other processes can be compared.
