Due to the nature of coffee and how it reacts to the air after being ground, we recommend purchasing this coffee as whole bean. However, should you not have access to a grinder, we can grind it for you here.

Finca El Alto is located in the mountainous region of Cerro Grande in San Francisco del Valle, Ocotepeque, Honduras. Its name “El Alto” in English means “The Tall”. Jose Daniel Aguilar is the owner of Finca El Alto. It was always a dream for his grandfather to have a coffee farm that
reached into the sky! El Alto is a traditional farm inherited from generation to generation.  Jose Daniel can remember as a little child after school going to the farm with his grandpa and his father and seeing first hand their passion and knowledge of coffee. I have Finca El Alto to thank
for allowing me and my brother to study at University.  Finca El Alto is 2.5 hectares and now produces a microlot 68 bags of green coffee. This is a
direct relationship coffee with Bell Lane, Stephen & Niko spent time on Jose’s farm. “Finca El Alto and COCAFELOL produces special coffee… for special people!”
